CMYK
CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key/Black) is a fascinating color model that forms the backbone of modern printing technology. Unlike the additive RGB color model used in digital displays, CMYK is a subtractive color system that works by applying layers of ink or toner to create the full spectrum of visible colors
The journey of CMYK began in the early days of color printing, when printers discovered that combining three primary colors with black could reproduce most of the colors needed for commercial printing. Each component serves a unique purpose: Cyan absorbs red light while reflecting blue and green, Magenta absorbs green light while reflecting red and blue, and Yellow absorbs blue light while reflecting red and green.
